L’Oustau de Baumanière, a starred restaurant near d’Arles

Located about thirty minutes from the city of Arles, the Oustau de Baumanière, a three-star Michelin restaurant, is a reference in French gastronomy. Its founder, Chef Raymond Thuilier, created a friendly atmosphere and an exceptional menu in 1945, the year it opened, which has won over the hearts and taste buds of the finest gourmets. Succumb to the current menu, imagined by Chef Glenn Viel, in charge of the kitchens of the starred gastronomic restaurant since 2015.

The two menus offered by the Oustau de Baumanière, the “Ballade” menu and the “1987 – Vegetable Menu” are an invitation to a journey of the senses where the eyes will delight as much as the taste buds. Enjoy these exceptional dinners and lunches at our table; indoors in a mythical and warm room with a refined decoration or outdoors on our shaded terrace, nestled in a soothing green setting. Located below Baux-de-Provence, one of the most beautiful villages in France, the restaurant enjoys the panorama of the steep white rocks, typical of the Alpilles.

This internationally renowned establishment has been a favourite with generations of gourmets and has always attracted royalty and celebrities looking for an exceptional gastronomic restaurant in Provence.

The gastronomic restaurant La Cabro d’Or near d’Arles

For more than twenty years, Chef Michel Hulin has been officiating in the kitchens of the gastronomic restaurant La Cabro d’Or in Les Baux-de-Provence, about thirty minutes from Arles. Thanks to his talent and creativity, you will be able to taste dishes that evolve according to the seasons and market products. The “Menu Gourmandise” is in itself a tribute to the surrounding nature, favoring local producers in order to highlight the land of the Alpilles and Provence. Les Baux-de-Provence PDO olive oil is widely featured and enhances each dish with its subtle, fruity taste, so particular to the region. The products from the organic garden of Baumanière, a five star hotel, are also the components of these tasty dishes.

The decoration of the room invites you to a real parenthesis of softness. Every detail has been thought of to make your experience an unforgettable moment: a refined decoration, midnight blue and golden tones creating a friendly and soothing atmosphere, art objects to contemplate…

In 2019, the Chef of La Cabro d’Or was awarded the Gault et Millau “Tradition d’Aujourd’hui” trophy for his revisited old-fashioned cuisine and his talent. Even today, his desire to highlight the regional terroir is particularly close to his heart.
