Founded in 1945, the famous 3-star Michelin restaurant is an institution of French gastronomy. It was in 1949 that the restaurant obtained its first star, thanks to the talent and know-how of the founder of l’Oustau de Baumanière, Raymond Thuillier. His famous recipes have been passed down through time and have delighted gourmets from generation to generation. A culinary heritage that is perpetuated by Chef Glenn Viel, in charge of the kitchen since 2015, as well as Brandon Dehan, the Pastry Chef, whose desserts are an invitation to pleasure. Consuming local and seasonal produce is a habit for this nature lover who is expanding the Oustau de Baumanière’s vegetable garden in order to produce the best ingredients for the exceptional dishes on his menus.
