Exhibition “From Vermeer to Van Gogh: the Dutch Masters” and “Mondrian the architect of colors

The Dutch Masters: Painting light and its atmosphere is the main theme of the exhibition. Direct or subdued, cold or sunny, the light reveals the facades and the intimacy of homes. The visitor will take the sails to dock in the cities and stroll in this Vermeerian climate where the inhabitants invite us to enter the painting.

Mondrian: What is hidden behind this apparent minimalism and this radiant and radical painting? In a game of horizontals and verticals from the figurative to the abstract, this immersive exhibition offers to follow the artistic evolution of the painter, who frees himself from traditional painting to immerse himself in a visionary painting: Neo-plasticism.

At the heart of a lumino-kinetic building, 16 hexagonal modules present 44 monumental architectural integrations whose common thread is optical art. These works are the result of a fruitful collaboration between the artist, architects and companies, with the aim of creating the “polychrome city of happiness”.
