"Dalí, l’énigme sans fin" at the Carrières de Lumières

In 2020, the Carrières de Lumières illuminates famous and unique works by Salvador Dalí. "Dalí, l’énigme sans fin" looks back on more than 60 creative years of the Catalan master who has traveled and invented several artistic styles.

"Gaudí, architecte de l'imaginaire" at the Carrières de Lumières

This immersive exhibition pays homage to this architectural genius through its buildings, which are today classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. It offers a journey, between dream and reality, from Parc Güell to Casa Batlló, passing through Casa Milà and the Sagrada Família.

"Yves Brayer - Un nouveau regard" at Les Baux de Provence

The Yves Brayer Museum hosts an important retrospective of the work of this painter, very attached to Mediterranean countries, who is among the most representative of 20th century figuration.

During these unique evenings, come and discover or relive the emotion of previous exhibitions. A selection carried by the great masters of painting: Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael: the giants of the Renaissance (2015), Klimt and Vienne a century of gold and colors (2014) and Van Gogh, at night starry (2019).

" La boîte de Pandore " at Musée Réattu Arles

Inspired by a series of photographs taken by Corinne Mercadier in 2019 in a reserve of the Sainte-Luce commandery, the new hanging of the Réattu museum collections erects the figure of Pandora in allegory of a fundamental mission for the institution labeled "Museum of France ”: proofing.

"A la merci du soleil" at Régala Gallery Arles

Today, Pascal Monteil only expresses himself on 19th century hemp canvases. There are old threads "which transform into gouaches, watercolors, glazes, thick oil, charcoal", according to Christian Lacroix. His works are to be discovered this summer at the Galerie Regala. The Vincent Van Gogh Foundation presents "La complicité", an exhibition by the Swiss artist Roberto Donetta (1865-1932) presented for the first time in France in the form of an "encounter" of his works.

"À travers les yeux d’Yvon Lambert, 20 ans après…" at Collection Lambert Avignon

20 years after the installation of his collection in Avignon, Yvon Lambert begins a new dialogue with his flagship artists and the rooms of the places that house their works. For the occasion, the collector chooses 13 artists to each of whom he allocates an entire room of the Hôtel de Caumont, a historic building opened on June 27, 2000 to accommodate this museum project then unprecedented in the French artistic landscape.

In 2020, the Hôtel de Caumont honors Joaquín Sorolla (1863-1923), one of the biggest names in 20th century Spanish painting. We owe him one of the most striking and striking representations of a bright and Mediterranean Spain, optimistic and modern.

"Pharaon, Osiris et la momie: L'Egypte ancienne" at the Granet Museum in Aix en Provence

The Egyptian collection of the Granet museum will be fully presented to the public from April 17 to September 20, 2020 as part of the exhibition "Pharaoh, Osiris and the mummy", more than 200 pieces of very high quality which will be complemented by works on loan by the Louvre museum.

"Stéphane GUIRAN : Les mers rêvent encore" at Centre d'Art Campredon l'Isle sur la Sorgue
In tribute to René Char, the exhibition is built around a poetic story, edited by the artist in the form of a book. The Campredon art center is plunged into the night, and the spectator is invited to cross scenes from the book, which are all imaginary landscapes made up of installations, sound pieces and sculptures.

" SUD-EST, exposition d'oeuvres de la collection du Centre Pompidou " at Vasarely Foundation Aix en Provence

As part of its collaboration with the National Museum of Modern Art - Center Pompidou, the Vasarely Foundation presents a selection of around twenty works by artists from South America and Eastern Europe.
