The Cosquer Caves, near Marseille, are an underwater archaeological treasure trove dating back to the Upper Palaeolithic. Accessible only by diving, these caves are home to unique cave paintings and engravings, bearing witness to prehistoric life and ancient art. The site is a fascinating vestige of human history. The restitution of this cave has been open since summer 2022, allowing curious young and old alike to plunge into the Paleolithic world over 1750m2 under the sea, aboard autonomous mobiles for a tour lasting around thirty minutes.
